Okay, well....

Maurizio Cattelan is my new hero.

"What I’m interested in are images," Cattelan, most famous for his sculpture of a meteor-struck pope, told Interview magazine last year. The time is now ripe for artists to make prominent statements that comment on our world, he said. "If art is serious about claiming a central role in today’s society and culture, this is the best chance it’s had in ages.... I think it’s time for artists to get over auction houses, galleries, and high-production-value exhibitions and start using our voices again." Or at least our fingers.
